Website terms

Terms of Use

These terms govern access to and use of ITperfection.com. Separate written agreements govern paid services and client engagements.

Effective and last updated: July 14, 2026

Counsel review recommended: These terms provide a practical public foundation. Qualified counsel should confirm the final provisions, limitations, and California-specific applicability.

Acceptance and permitted use

By using this website, you agree to these terms. You may use it for lawful business research, service inquiries, and intended purposes. You may not attempt unauthorized access; interfere with security or availability; introduce malicious code; burden systems through abusive scraping; impersonate another person; misuse forms; or use content for unlawful, deceptive, or infringing activity.

Informational content is not a professional audit

Articles, checklists, calculators, assessments, guides, and recommendations are for initial guidance and general education. They do not replace a professional cybersecurity audit, compliance assessment, penetration test, legal or compliance review, or a service engagement tailored to your environment. Results depend on the information supplied and do not guarantee security, compliance, uptime, data recovery, or incident prevention.

Services and communications

A form submission, email, call, meeting, estimate, or proposal does not by itself create a client relationship or obligate IT Perfection to provide services. Scope, fees, response commitments, service levels, responsibilities, limitations, confidentiality, and data-handling terms are governed by an executed agreement. The website is not an emergency support channel.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise indicated, the website design, original text, tools, reports, graphics, branding, and content are owned by or licensed to IT Perfection and protected by applicable law. You may view and print reasonable copies for internal evaluation. You may not republish, sell, remove notices from, misrepresent authorship of, or create a competing commercial product from protected content without written permission.

Third-party resources

The site may link to or embed services operated by others. Links are provided for convenience or reference and do not guarantee availability, accuracy, security, or endorsement. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy notices.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error free, completely secure, or suitable for every purpose. General content may not be current for every product, regulation, environment, or jurisdiction. Nothing here excludes rights or duties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, IT Perfection and its owners, personnel, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from website use, inability to use the site, reliance on general content, third-party services, or unauthorized access. Any liability that cannot be excluded will be limited as required by law. A signed client agreement controls for covered services.

California law, changes, and severability

These website terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject to mandatory protections. We may update them by posting a revised version and effective date. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent allowed. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
